Last weekend, we decided to abandon previous oaths to 'never do it again' and hike to the top of Mount Timpanogos. We hiked the Aspen Grove trail, a different trail than we used 3 years ago, and reached the 11,749 foot summit in about 5 hours, just in time for the sunrise! We went with our good friends, Steve and Crystal, and had a grand time laughing, snacking and enjoying unbeatable scenery. I can't get over what a beautiful place Utah is and how lucky we are to have places like this so close to home! And thanks to our regular Y mountain hikes and being in better general health than 3 years ago, this year's hike wasn't nearly as excruciating. We will definitely do this again. Enjoy the pictures!

Ooh, Tyson and I have been wanting to hike up there for forever. Sounds like i need to start working out so it doesn't kill me. Way to go!
I'm so proud (and a tad jealous) that you and Alan did this! :) Can't wait for your next big adventure...
Great pictures! Isn't Utah amazing? I hope you had a nice long nap when you got down.
Wow, that looks so fun! You think you are bad swearing off Mt. Timpanogas... We have sworn off the Y.. Ha ha
